Working out a quantity
Supplied in 4 m lengths, 8 pieces to a pack, so one pack is 32 linear metres. Set the piece count from the screen width and the spacing you want; at this section, centres under 250 mm start to read as a solid wall from an angle.
Where it is used
Room dividers that need to give privacy from an angle, stair balustrade infill, and tall fins in double-height spaces where a shallow section would look thin.
Choosing this over the alternatives
Choose 150 mm over 100 mm when the screen is meant to obscure rather than filter. Standing square on, both look similar; walking past, the deeper section closes the view much sooner.
Eight pieces per pack at 4 m gives 32 linear metres. It is packed eight rather than ten because of the larger section, so a screen costed per metre works out differently to the 100 mm slat.
