Description
The end cap, 47 mm wide, for the edge where a panelled area simply stops. It closes the open flute or hollow chamber so the cut end is never visible.

Working out a quantity
Supplied in 3 m lengths, 40 pieces to a pack, so one pack is 120 linear metres. Walk the drawing and mark every edge where panelling stops in open air, including the top of dado runs and both sides of an uncased opening.
Where it is used
Where panelling ends part-way along a wall, around door and window openings that are not cased, and at the top of a half-height panelled dado.
Choosing this over the alternatives
Use the end cap where a run terminates in open air. Where two panel runs meet each other in the middle of a wall, the balance trim is the correct profile.
This is the profile most often under-ordered. Count every free edge, not just the obvious ones, or a job stalls waiting on 3 m of trim.
