A 35 mm picture-frame moulding, the narrower of the two frame profiles. It draws a light border around a panelled area without competing with it.

Working out a quantity
Supplied in 3 m lengths, 40 pieces to a pack, so one pack is 120 linear metres. Take the perimeter of each frame and add roughly 10% for mitre waste; a 1.2 by 1.8 m panel needs 6 m before allowance.
Where it is used
Framed wall panels in classical interiors, decorative recesses in bedrooms and dining rooms, and the border around a wallpapered or upholstered insert.
Choosing this over the alternatives
At 35 mm this reads as a fine line. The 60 mm profile makes a much heavier frame and suits larger panel modules or taller ceilings.
Forty pieces per pack at 3 m gives 120 linear metres, roughly enough for ten framed panels of 1.2 by 1.8 m with cutting allowance.
