Working out a quantity
Supplied in 3 m lengths, 30 pieces to a pack, so one pack is 90 linear metres. Frame perimeter plus mitre allowance, and add more waste than for the narrow profile because a mis-cut in a wider section wastes a longer offcut.
Where it is used
Formal reception rooms, hotel corridors with tall panel modules, and schemes where the frame itself is meant to be part of the decoration.
Choosing this over the alternatives
Nearly twice the face width of the 35 mm profile. On a small panel module the 60 mm will overwhelm the field; on a full-height module the 35 mm disappears.
Thirty pieces per pack at 3 m gives 90 linear metres. The pack holds fewer pieces than the 35 mm because of the larger section.
