Working out a quantity
Supplied in 3 m lengths, 20 pieces to a pack, so one pack is 60 linear metres. Set the quantity from the elevation drawing. At this width the moulding is a designed element, so its length is fixed by the design rather than by the room.
Where it is used
Grand rooms, hotel public areas and formal residential interiors where the moulding is a primary element of the design.
Choosing this over the alternatives
The largest section available. Below about 3 m of ceiling height a 70 mm moulding will dominate a wall; the 60 mm profile 03 is usually the safer specification.
Also twenty pieces per pack for 60 linear metres, so the wider section is absorbed in the piece price rather than in a shorter pack.
